MOUNT DESERT ISLAND HAPPENINGS The Bar Harbor Cruise Ship season is in full swing now and will last until the end of October. This year 118 ships are scheduled to visit - a new record. The grand Queen Mary 2 will be here twice - once on September 6 and again on October 28. In addition to all of the other events, we will continue to post the complete list of scheduled cruise ships about two weeks ahead so that you can plan to see those ships in which you may have special interest.
